Lesley Sutton – Crocodile Trophy 2010

The hardest, longest, hottest and most adventurous MTB race in the world!!!

Tyrepower Cairns Tyres Roof Racks and 4wd equipment

Only a week to go now. This year, Cairns will be represented by female competitor, Lesley Sutton.  With just seven women riders in a field of 77 the 2010 women racers will attract much attention and focus the lenses of a global media contingent.

Now in its 16th year, the Crocodile Trophy continues to hone its reputation as the world’s hardest, longest, hottest and most adventurous MTB race. In a route that covers tropical north Queensland’s toughest terrain and takes in some 10 gruelling stages, riders who successfully finish the race will have covered more than 1200 kms.

And while Lesley has been training hard for the past two years, her dream is close to being fulfilled with thanks to the many people who have helped us along the way. See the Thank you page for more details.

Already, Lesley has been endowed with discounted ‘wheels’ thanks to the team at Trinity Cycles who together with Merida, have provided a Merida FLX Carbon Team Bike to battle the extreme demanding work load of Croc Trophy’s endurance challenge.
