2009 Race
Lesley Sutton – Crocodile Trophy 2010
The hardest, longest, hottest and most adventurous MTB race in the world!!!
With temperatures exceeding 45 degrees it was 151 km of red dust, corrugation and sand. She survived a broken chain which she fixed with ease thanks to Wil for his mechanical tutoring..
The end product looked like a spray tan gone wrong. 6 hours and 55 minutes to finish in 3rd place.
2.5 days to go, its amazing that Cooktown is already upon us tomorrow. A very long day ahead along Battle Camp Road.
Hot, Dry and Sweaty.
A mixture of images for day 6 & 7. Beautiful drive, the road was fantastic, due to the amount of rain they have been having its very green, the cows look happy and so do the ringers who flew in last night to check out the excitement.

Well done Lesley!!! We’re all extremely impressed by your riding and mechanical skills. Don’t forget to even-up those tan lines before you get home. Enjoy the view from Grassy Hill. Keep smiling. :p

Hey Leslie…love the photos on the site. Oh and I’d love a copy of the upside down one !! Thats just got to be on my photo wall..its great to see you are all having fun. This might encourage more riders for next year. You’ll make them think its not so bad !! It’ll all be over too soon and you’ll be back in the real world – how will you cope with that hey ? For starters you can book me in for a hair colour – pleeeease. See you all soon, and stay strong and happy…all three of you…

Hey Leslie well done and keep it up for the last couple of days!!! I’d do it too if I could have a massage every night… on the other hand, that might be a bit hasty, maybe I’ll leave it to pros like yourself xxx
